Life goes on for the ladies in the Yamayurikai. On the one-year anniversary of Sachiko and Yumi becoming soeurs, Yumi receives a difficult task from Sachiko: to finally acknowledge someone as her younger sister.

In the universe of Slayers, the supreme being is neither good nor evil, but is called the Lord of Nightmares, who created everything, and who is said to “shine like gold on the Sea of Chaos.” Later, it is revealed that the Lord of Nightmares is in fact the Sea of Chaos itself. Four pillars rise out of the Sea of Chaos, and each supports its own world. Since the Sea of Chaos comprises the Lord of Nightmares’ body, the worlds likewise spring from her. In Slayers Next, the Claire Bible confides that if the worlds are destroyed and returned to chaos, the Lord of Nightmares can return to her true form (although why she created the four worlds in the first place has not been revealed, neither by the novels nor the author himself).

Yumeiro Patissiere

Adaptation of Natsumi Matsumoto’s shoujo manga Yumeiro Patissiere (Dream-Colored Pastry Chef). The manga, which premiered in September 2008, tells the story of 14 year old Ichigo Amano, a clumsy girl who dreams of becoming a pastry chef. She draws closer to fulfilling her dream when she enrolls in the St. Mary Academy culinary school and meets a tiny “spirit of sweets.”

I have already downloaded about 2 episodes of this. Only the lack of free space has kept me from downloading the rest that are already subbed.

It’s about time that I made my layout widget-ready. I have been putting it off because I was lazy to figure out how to use different shades of brown boxes in the sidebar. When I did, I realized that it didn’t take long. I also have stopped using a link feed from Blinklist and used the links manager of WP. I deleted some anime blog links that haven’t been updated in years. It’s a shame they’ve stopped blogging. Hmm, or I could have missed their “I moved to blah-blah” post. The next thing and probably the last I have to do now is to add the Google Adsense I signed up for. I remember signing up for that about a week or two ago. *facepalm*

On something manga-related, I have re-uploaded 2 volumes of Nana in my domain. It’s there because I prefer to keep this site sharing free. Only Hanafuda’s an exception. I really enjoyed that manga. :P

I should resume making proper reviews instead of lame@$$ summaries.

The art is very nice. I give it a 9 out of 10! I think the manga is a mix of old and new works that’s why some look a bit odd. Like they’re supposedly a doujinshi turned into an original story like the story Sempai’s a Little Weird. The girl looks like a Tenchi Muyo character with weird proportions. Those with good art are Warau Kangofu and Stupid Siblings.

I doubt every hentai fan will like to read this manga because some are mostly about incest. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. :P Other stories are between a female teacher or nurse and a student. Imo, the best story would be Older and Younger Sister. — A young man was forced to go to a singles party. In the party, his gf sees him there and destroys the party. Yumiko, the gf, got very drunk at the party that the young man had to carry her home. No taxi would take them. In the morning, he was woken up by Yumiko and her younger sister Aki. He’s also introduced as Yasuda. Yumiko introduced her younger sister to him and told him that she’s about the right age to lose her virginity. Yasuda refuses this idea, but was forced again into it to make up for his going to the singles party.

Alright, I won’t go into details anymore. Go buy the manga or download the translations.

I should have been done last night with the WP 2.5 update then I discovered that no subcategories were showing up in my WP Categories page nor when I edit/compose posts. I tried to see if it were the plugins, but didn’t seem like it because if it were then I should have problems with my domain blog as well. So I just did a fresh install and imported all the entries. Good thing this is fast. If I was still using MT, I would have taken ages again. Though I have no idea if MT is better now than before.

Time to finish my Dennou Coil reviews which are all extremely delayed. I also have to catch up on my Gintama reviews. I find it hard to review that series. Just remembering all the funny scenes is making it hard for me to complete a sentence. :P

The past few months have been very hectic for me. I graduated last January, but had been preparing even though I haven’t graduated yet for board exams which was scheduled on the first week of February. After that, I still got busy with other real life matters. -_- I miss anime and doing lame reviews. I thank everyone who left comments in my old entries. At least there are still some people who visit.

I should get around to blogging about Dennou Coil. Just never got to do that even though I have already finished watching the series months ago (I watched it whenever I got on a break from reviewing). I have decided to review Shigofumi too and will do that soon. There are new posts at Gunota Headlines about Gundam 00. For those who don’t know yet, Gundam 00’s official site has already the enemy MS profiles. I’m excited to watch this series. Hopefully I won’t be too busy by then. Another reason to be excited on Gundam 00 is Laruku’s Daybreak’s Bell that will be the anime’s first theme song. The single will be released on October 10. That’s good news for all you L’Arc~en~Ciel fans!

I got the first episode of Hellsing Ultimate and I haven’t seen it yet… Now there’s already an episode 3. Was episode 2 subbed?

In a summer vacation, a group of 15 children discovered a mysterious man living in a seashore cave, along with his high-tech gadgets. The man claimed to be a game developer creating a video game with 15 giant robots defending Earth from alien invaders and asked those childs to test the game for him. The kids agreed happily at first, but soon they began to find the game horrifying, not only because of its realism but also for the first fatality among them happened right after their first victory. Aside from the interesting plot, one of the voice cast is Akira Ishida.

Risa and Otani are always being laughed at as the comedy duo. Risa, a girl, is taller than the average girl, and Otani, a boy, is shorter than the average boy. From moetron, the opening of the Romeo x Juliet anime is You Raise Me Up. It will be sung by Lena Park. (Wow, a Korean artist again after BoA.) You can hear a sample in the Romeo x Juliet official site. I don’t use normal computer speakers, so it’s hard for me to hear clearly whether the song is in Korean or Japanese. You know, I’m not that pleased with the anime’s character art. I wish it was done by Clamp, so it would look Code Geass-ish. Also, I want them to use a different OP theme. I think I’ve heard enough of You Raise Me Up. It wouldn’t be so bad if they did a remake instead of just changing the language.

I got the screencaps ready for my Gintama ramblins, but they’re all in my computer. I’m using my/my mom’s laptop because my computer’s busy burning. :P Anyway, I’ve been visiting various anime sites these past few days; in between breaks, when I work in my thesis and plumbing workouts.

Fansub.TV — AniDB or AnimeNFO with streaming video and torrents. The usual features, but what caught me was to be able to put a watchlist. I’m guessing it’s a watchlist in the site rather than what you watch in your video player. There’s a scheduler as well, but seems to be applicable to the anime can be watched in their site.

AnimeTV — I visited this site last night and it says on the video that Samurai Champloo episode 2 will play. It’s still Samurai Champloo ep. 2 even now (it’s already morning). I decided to see what they actually play. The intro in the 17-minute video ready to play in their site is like one of those teen series in Nickelodeon. I got irked, but continued to watch. It seems they will not play the second episode of Samurai Champloo. Instead, they’re discussing among themselves their opinion about the show. They’re giving away all the nice scenes that I think people should see for themselves.
And, the Death Note laptop.

My previous post is about hentai. Thumbnails and preview images were uploaded to my Imageshack account. When I checked the preview of my post after publishing it, the images didn’t view. There are images of “hotlinking is disabled for this domain.” But the other images also hosted in the same Imageshack account works fine. Are they having server problems today or they hate hentai?

XD This took me almost 2 days to finish. I hope I got everything fixed. I’m too OC that I can’t stop myself til I get this done. Haha~ XD I don’t even post anything even. Anyways, I’m done with the updating stage. Thanks to Blinklist, they have this widget to add links to your site. It makes my life easier. I won’t have to find a RSS aggregate script that is easy to use and will work on WP 2.1. Yep, I’m already using WP 2.1. My other sites will be updated with the new WP as soon as all the plugins I use are works in it.

Since I subscribed to Blinklist, I thought I should make use of its other features. The anime blogs links are now listed via RSS feed from my Blinklist account. I won’t have to frequently log in to my MT and add links manually. Adding links one by one takes up a lot of my time. I’m either slow or whenever I visit an anime blog, I tend to browse the site longer than I intend to. More links will be added soon. I only wonder how I can fix those links to alphabetical order. Anyone know how? I don’t know if there are MT tags for that or if it should be fixed in Blinklist.

Tensai11 is closing her anime blog. She won’t be gone forever as she is only going to pursue her Master’s Degree. It’s sad to see another anime blog gone though. Anyways, anime blogs aren’t as important as education, so I wish her all the luck in her studies.
I can’t wait to graduate from college. Hehe~

Most of the images are broken. My host had server problems and my files were deleted. They said my files were only temporarily down, but I don’t think they restored them. It’s not much of a big deal, but it’s a bit problematic for me to upload the mood icons I had there.

Now that I’ve finished Genshiken, it’s time for a new anime. I was choosing from Peach Girl, Mahou Sensei Negima, or Buzzer Beater. I would choose all, but due to time constraints at the moment, musing them all is kinda impossible. Anyways, I’m going to start on Buzzer Beater. I will start on more series as soon as I get done with Gokusen.
