I think this series has started to bore me. >_> I finished this one sitting (after installing CCCP that finally makes all the AVIs I downloaded working!). Jeda, Art, and the guy with an insect mask started to make better appearances on episode 19. They were mostly in the shadows in the previous episode/s. Kaoru goes on Nekomimi transformation that I think is rather odd and OOC of her. Kouhei undergoes serious training including climbing mountains without any ropes, safety gear or any support. Isn’t it crazy? ^^; I thought this was going to end up some loli-romance stuff. XP I’m glad it didn’t. I like lolicon, but I never got to appreciate the anime ones. The ending of Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ is, err, okay. I can’t find the right word to describe it. The last episode only showed how everyone was doing. Oh, grandpa and Elfriede were alive. WTF. Then I thought there was something wrong with Kouhei’s grandpa, but it wasn’t properly explained. WTF (again). I was thinking of reading the manga. The anime though doesn’t give much reason for me to do so. Hazuki’s a vampire who doesn’t seem to be of much use — she kinda dragged everyone down & without Kouhei’s blood she’s almost helpless. I overestimated this show. -_- Watch this if you’ve got time to waste. The series would have been properly reviewed if it weren’t for the fact that it bore me; forcing myself to finish the series because I don’t usually stop watching when it’s almost ending.

Kouhei decides to study his grandfather’s art… Err, I don’t know what it’s called. Anyway, his grandfather disapproves of this. He wants to learn it because he wants to protect Hazuki instead of doing nothing or just having to run away with her. Grandpa, in the end, recommended Kouhei to go to Yayoi to learn their art. It’s good he had told him where to go and learn it because his death and Elfriede’s shocked me.

Elfriede and Grandpa are getting along very fine after she tells him about her past. If she wasn’t a vampire, it wouldn’t be freaky since they’ll be both _old_. Grandpa may know they could be okay together, but the people who are unaware of Elfriede’s true nature would be against it. *lol*
Damn, this episode’s ending is unexpected.

This episode’s cute. ^^; I can’t find the right word to describe it. But they really made something that would make the viewers happy because of the damn previous episode. 8 Months had passed and Kouhei is still training. So far, no vampires have gone to their whereabouts. The part where a monster was following Hazuki was hilarious. XD She looked like she was being chased by a sex maniac deformed into a purple monster. XD;

Mario died with barely doing anything, so now there are new enemies. There are still no HOT vamps? >_< Seiji’s the only nice looking guy in this show.

Hazuki and “Luna” seems to have merged. Elfriede has also proven that Hazuki/Luna is a “Perfect” Day Walker. Kouhei shows Hazuki/Luna how it is outside during daytime. There were times she’d act like Hazuki and Kouhei would think she returned to normal. What Elfriede said about Hazuki and Luna (the fake personality) merging together might be true.

Ever since her personalities “merged,” she’s become very sensitive. She started ignoring Kouhei after hearing from him that he’s no servant of hers and that he’s only obliged to be with her. Luna seemed to have forgotten that it was a full moon that night. Elfriede reminded her of that and, after finding out why she’s down, made a way for them to make up. Obviously, they make up and Kouhei offers his blood to her. The ff. day, Hazuki seemed to be back to her old self. His blood triggered her to return to normal.

Gawd, Tsukuyomi is turning Lolita-ish. Kouhei blushed because of Hazuki/Luna!? XP I like Lolita-ish love pairings, but I don’t think I can stomach the two. I don’t like them. I can’t even find a good pairing in this show. :P On the other hand, Elfriede is becoming funnier than how she was the first time her character was introduced. Then person she was able to suck blood from is hilarious. *lol* She doesn’t seem too surprised to find herself sleeping outside with birds around her. ^^;
Oi, I wanna see a HOT vampire. ~_~ All I’ve seen from this show, so far, are oldies and female vampires.

This seems like a filler episode about Kouhei and Hazuki having some quality time together. In the end, Kouhe forgot about his photoshoot. He could have been in deep shit if it weren’t for his photograph of Hazuki that was used for the magazine cover. When are they going to reveal who the guy behind the pig mask is? I wish he’s a HOTTIE vamp.
*lol* Haiji vs. THE CROW! XD It’s been a while since I saw something very funny from this series. XDDD Hazuki certainly has nothing better to do than do stupid like picking on crows.

Whoa, Kinkel is, in truth, Elfriede’s father! O_O I didn’t expect that because she said she wasn’t a vampire til recently. Kinkel surely did give them a rough time. Poor Grandpa and Seiji. Anyway, how come Hazuki wasn’t affected by the sunlight? These _important_ mysteries are still unsolved.

Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ Ep. 12

April 24, 2005 @ 6:42 pm (0 Comments)

Another gloomy episode… *sighs* But there are still a few funny moments. It sucks that Hiromi and their editor-in-chief got involved in their problems. The Count bit them, shouldn’t they be forever under his control? Hazuki went on about returning Hiromi to normal. :P

Hazuki looked so cute when she was a baby and in that neko costume. XD She is still cute, but “annoyingly” cute. *sweatdrop*

You know, the story is sort of interesting, but the way they did the animation isn’t good. For example, in this episode, Hazuki and Kouhei were attacking Seiji. There were only still shots of Seiji’s head, while Hazuki and Kouhei were shouting. After a few seconds of every still shots were just black screens. I didn’t understand what was going on.

How unlikely of Kaoru to cause trouble. *lol*

Hazuki is trying to act like a big sister to the two girls or she’s just trying to make a good shot at Kouhei. It’s so out-of-the-blue that you’d think she’s up to something. A surprise? Not like anything’s _that_ surprising in the series. ^^v

Elfriede shouldn’t have tried to harm her master. She should have ran off to another country. *lol* She _is_ stupid to go against whatever-his-name-is. Not only did she make herself known as “stupid,” she will also be the cause for Kouhei’s future problems.

Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ Ep. 9-10

Episode 9

The opening video is… X___X A treat for the lolicons. Hazuki looks cute in the last part, so I guess it’s fine.

Elfriede’s wish to fight against Count Kinkel reminds me of Louis and Lestat. The “easy” way of being free from one’s master isn’t similar to the Vampre Chronicles though. The Vampire’s Lover has been brought up again and it’s a question of how and why Kouhei is. He’s lucky he doesn’t turn into a vampire though unlucky he could be a living supplier of blood for these female vamps. The series should introduce a HOT vampire. A little treat for the bishie lover in me. Nevermind those lolicons. XDD;

Let’s say Kouhei lives through his lung wound. Would he be able to live normally? :P Unlikely, don’t you think? Count Kinkel also found out that he’s a Vamp’s Lover. That thing might be spread around their kind and they will all go kill him. XDDD I like violent material, but the way Hazuki is all cute and neko-ish, the bad guys here just annoy me.

Episode 10

Hazuki is starting to feel bad about being a vampire; like a curse to everyone around her. Seiji had started to blame Hazuki for what happened to Kouhei. It’s something really fatal that even I might get mad it were to happen to my friend. What happened is rather unexpected. Young girls would usually act like a spoiled brat. Hazuki was completely the opposite. She remained calm and became a lot helpful to Kouhei and his family by giving her life energy to save him.

In the end, how a bite could save a life is beyond my expectation. ^^;;;

Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ Ep. 7-8

January 11, 2005 @ 12:34 am (0 Comments)

Episode 07

Elfriede got a chance to “drink” Kouhei’s blood. He didn’t become her slave though and sees this as a start of rivalry between her and Hazuki — whoever becomes the vampire’s lover.

Kouhei tells Hazuki not to rely on her powers to get what she wants. She quarreled with him, but did things Kouhei told her to prove to him what he said was wrong. In the end, she learned her lesson.

I’m not sure of the vampire lover thing, but I think that whoever becomes the lover will be set free of being a vampire. Kouhei’s clumsy, but I don’t think it would be easy for any of them to get his “loving” attention. Hazuki’s still a brat. XP Her lolita shots are getting annoying too.

Episode 08

They thought they finally found Hazuki’s mother. Hazuki went off to go to her, but was only kidnapped. It’s up to Kouhei and his grandfather to save Hazuki.

So, Kouhei’s blood did free Elfriede from her master, Count Kinkel.

Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ Ep. 6

January 11, 2005 @ 12:30 am (0 Comments)

The opening song is getting quite addictive. *lol* Although, the “kissu” part is irritating. >_>

Kouhei goes out of town with Hiromi to collect some data while Grandpa and Seiji has other plans. Hazuki had to go with them because they couldn’t leave her alone.

When they got to the temple where Grandpa and Seiji had something to do, Hikaru and Kaoru arrives, introduces themselves, and claims to be engaged with Seiji and Kaoru respectively. Both seem to be temple-caretakers.

A few things were revealed about Heidi like her having met Hazuki’s mother through Shizure. Since he’s getting weaker they brought her to the temple. Grandpa and Seiji decides to move/evolve her into something else, so Hazuki will still have a companion.

(No caps because I don’t know how to do that using VLC. I watched this using my mom’s laptop.)

Elfriede asks Hazuki to return to the castle, but she refuses. Some minor action ensues. Nothing biggie in this episode.

Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ Ep. 4

January 2, 2005 @ 11:14 pm (0 Comments)

Elfriede has began her watch over Kouhei. It’s kinda odd to have a mouse do a job when over at Kouhei’s they have a cat. A cat who has not much keen sense in detecting rats. Hehe~ I thought when Hazuki was at Kouhei’s grandfather’s place, she automatically became a helper in the shop.

What’s up with Hazuki sitting on top of Kouhei, btw? It made me think ECCHI. Probably a Lolita treat? Pfft.

Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ Ep. 3

January 2, 2005 @ 11:05 pm (0 Comments)

Hrm, Hazuki runs away before 12 mn and Kouhei starts searching for her by 4 am. Kouhei, Seiji, and ol’ man were just drinking tea. If I were them, I would have fallen asleep. T_T We also find out in this episode that Kouhei’s mom leaves and, a year later, she’s dead. It seems the similarity of Hazuki and Kouhei’s situation is some kind of fate. *lol* Hazuki’s still unaware about what’s really up with her mom though.

I missed most of the conversation in this episodes. Being that I have Studio ADTRW’s mkv subs and I use VLC Player in my mom’s laptop to watch it. The way VLC handles subs SUCKS. A long sentence goes in one line; the words overlap. ~_~ I can’t even make caps too. *bah*

Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~ Ep. 1-2

Kouhei's taking pics of the castle.Vigo, the too-loyal BUTLER! XD
Laying eggs ~_~Just when they were about to _kiss_.
A BISHIE! YAY!

Shoujo, but dark and about vampires. For those with lolita complex, this is a must-see. *lol* I’m not one. Only the “vampire” part intrigued me.

If I had a thing for straight-pairs and lolita stuff, I would have fangirled over Vigo and Hazuki. :P Me and my wild imagination. See, Vigo’s being an over-protective BUTLER of the castle. He might be way obedient and loyal to his _still-unknown_ master, but it could be ♥. Aigoo! Pedophile. *rofl* What’s more, he tried to kill/destory/eliminate Kouhei because he was trying to kidnap Hazuki when he wasn’t.

I don’t understand why Kouhei didn’t become a vampire. It’s the first time I’ve seen a vampire biting a human and he/she doesn’t become his/her _loyal_ servant (or follower or something). It was the only way for Hazuki to be free from the castle.

Frustrated HazukiVigo could have just shot him while he was doing his _slow chant_.
I just had to cap this. XDKouhei... Surprised at Hazuki's presence in his home.

Since the “kiss” didn’t work, Hazuki begged Kouhei to help her. They had escaped, but things were only about to start.

She got away from the castle with the help of Kouhei, but disappeared after the long fight. She flew back to Japan to find her mom and forced herself in Kouhei’s home (with his grandpa). Bishie Midou Seiji frequently visits to play with Kouhei’s grandpa and to discuss about the girl.

This episode didn’t make me itch to watch ep. 3. Not a cliffhanger, nothing that will make ask the questions what, why, and how, and less close-up shots of Seiji Midou. The first episode gave me a good impression and, hopefully, it will stay the same in the following episodes.
