Episode 10 - Hinoenma

It really sucks being compared with a friend. What happened between Tatsuta and Shiragiku and sort of understandable, but it’s such a one-sided story. There must be something that Shiragiku also feels towards Tatsuta. She must have kept her friendship with her because she was always better and praised. I almost got lost in the story. So it was Shiragiku who got burnt and not Tatsuta. T___T Messed up events do happen in real life when they’re word of mouth.
I believe they’re not pointing out a lot of important matters here. Like, how did Mataichi know Tatsuta and vice-versa? Damnit. Did I miss it?
Episode 11 - Funayuurei

I can’t help but think Momosuke has developed feelings for Ogin. XD He’s like the man who has a thing for dead females.
J/k! Ogin’s just too sexy. You wouldn’t normally see a lady wearing a kimono that way.
More oddness in this episode… Momosuke is always saved from dying/trouble. He got into this remote island while his companion was… *gulps* I hate it when the protagonists already has a new acquaintance/s and they die just like that. T__T
The Hikasou is an interesting weapon. But not as scary as a nuclear weapon.
Episode 12 - Shinigami or, rather, Shichinin Misaki Part 1
This is a bad, bad episode. Burning people like roast are too cruel.

The bad men have taken hold of the Hikasou. They want to create a new evil in the world? >_> Reminds of Slayers Season 1.
Even Shinigami looks like the priest in aforementioned series. Haha~
Episode 13 - Shinigami or, rather, Shichinin Misaki Part 2
Fuck the men here who only think of is sex.

Ah, the Shinigami is Kyougokutei. Surprise, surprise.
I so like Mataichi here. His akuma look blew me away. (Just so you know, I have weird tastes.)

Episode 5 - Shio no Chouji

I was about to eat a cake when I played this episode. I almost lost my appetite!
Whatever the guy was eating wasn’t clearly visible, but he ate _it_ like some monster. Blood was everywhere even. *gah* This anime isn’t the type to watch a popcorn or whatever food with.
Momosuke’s not a writer anymore. He’s already an actor.
They may find him annoying, but he’s pretty useful to them. I really thought he had forgotten the three and suffered from the horse curse. I really wonder what business does the three have with Momosuke. T_T Only the small guy, who’s name I’m forgetting at the moment, is making him leave them.
Episode 6 - Shibaemon Tanuki
Isn’t the hair of the man-tanuki a proof that he _is_ a tanuki? So Momosuke truly killed him similar to the old legend.

Am I glad this episode doesn’t have anything gory. The talking skeleton is freaky though. Even the doll has a skeleton? ^^vvv
Episode 7 - Katabira Street
There’s a name for a person who has a fetish for dead bodies, right? :P It’s sick, I know, but I remember watching it on tv. It was a documentary. Not a movie or a random tv show, fyi.
Sato looks like Ogin. No wonder she could be the next target. Her husband is freaking sick. He had a sudden liking for dead bodies when he saw her dead body rotting. After he kissed her when she was already dead, I have the slightest idea what happened when he removed the blanket off her. Sicko.

I rewatched the last part and I finally understood that the three set something up to cover the truth.
Episode 8 - Nodeppou

Momosuke and his older brother have the same hairdo. XD His older brother is a hottie though. (There goes my liking for older men. *lol*) Because I’m a yaoiand incest fan, when Momosuke was glad on seeing his brother… I thought… They.could.be.a.couple. *rofl* Heck, Momosuke was adopted when he was really young. They don’t have much of that brotherly love. XD
Anyways, doesn’t the story in this episode happen in real life? Some people are driven to madness due to too much anger and hatred. But I don’t believe a person could be taken over by a spirit or ghost.
Episode 9 -
Another sicko episode!

I’m beyond confused. Giemon is the one who was beheaded 3 times, but is still alive. Sasamori is the one who captured Giemon. From what I understand, Giemon is actually Ogin’s father and Sasamori is the one who really killed Ogin’s parents. :P Is that correct???

Ep. 4 - Dancing Severed Head
Momosuke started travelling with the “ongyou” to research for his Hyaku Monogotari. They got in another trouble because Momosuke got dragged into it. Oyoshi is the mistress of the head fisherman in the town. She has a sister, named Otama, who’s always inside her bedroom; not allowed to go out. Odd, don’t you think? Who would have thought that Otama is actually blind and Oyoshi is to blame for it? She was seen by Otama having sex with their father.
*pukes*
This Oyoshi has major problems. Let’s cheer on Mataishi for wiping her off the face of the earth. XD

Ep. 1 - Red Beans Washer

A weird, but good first episode and introduction of Ongyou and some lad whose name, I think, wasn’t mentioned. Yet. The guy got lost in some mountain. He first came across Mataichi who helped him when he almost fell down a cliff. He was told to leave the place right away, but because of the rain, he was still forced to stay in the place and look for shelter. He found a rundown store named Bicchuuya. “Tokubame” is the owner of the place and offered him and another traveller to stay for the night. He meets Ogin in the store; Mataichi was also there.
The young lad knows a lot of stories and is on his job of knowing a hundred ghost stories. In the end, he discovered that “Tokubame” isn’t really “Tokubame” and… They had killed the traveller. They do not look like they kill random people though. They just punish those who have done harm to others.
Ep. 2 - Willow Woman
The guy’s name still wasn’t mentioned!
Or do I just keep missing it? Grr~

Kichibe is the head of the House of the Willow. He has already lost 3 wives and kids because of the Willow Woman, rumors say. Ogin and Mataichi were nearby. Although they didn’t have any plans of “cleaning” the place up, Ogin has decided to do so. As for the still-nameless guy, he was told by his stuffed-animal-looking editor to head up to the House of the Willow if he plans to continue his Hyaku Monogatari.
Ep. 3 - White Zousu

Yasaku is a hunter who had killed off a lot of foxes. And people. Momosuke (the guy who wasn’t introduced in ep. 1 and 2) was asked to go out with Mataichi to show him White Zousu. It wasn’t explained well, but it has something to do with the Kyougoku clan. After understanding Mataichi’s intentions, he leaves but came across Yasaku. He questionned him about his killings and even helped him escape the ongyou. In the end, he was tricked by Yasaku.
It seems the Kyouguku clan part will be explained in the fourth episode. And… this series is getting kind of boring. Episode 1 was interesting that I had been itching for months to see this, but watching up to this episode got my hopes down. I don’t think I already made a review of the op and ed songs. Both sung by foreign singers, I guess, since the english doesn’t sound engrish. XD The ed is better than the op though. The singing in the op doesn’t seem in tune with the music itself nor the lyrics catches up with the beat. T_T Well, it’s still good in a way it’s different from other anime. They could just have done better.
