Watched this movie with my brother since I got him to watch the tv series before. 
Watching this series made me miss FMA. I watched this when I got all the subs and, I must say, it probably sucked watching this while it was still showing. Waiting for subs is sometimes an overkill. 
Anyway, I’m impressed with the animation on this movie. It’s still the same as the tv series, but the characters are older. Winry’s pretty and she seemed to have followed well from her grandma’s job. I wasn’t too happy with the ending. I am happy that he’s finally reconciled with his brother, but what’s with Edward’s attachment to the “normal” world & wanting to stay there? He could just stay where he came from and close the damn gate from that side. 
Seeing everything that he had left and the world he chose… I would say he made a wrong decision. It’s like he hasn’t escaped from any battle even though he’s finally done with his attempt to see his brother again.
