Maria-sama ga Miteru Ep. 1-4

I hate it when there are a lot of characters in an anime. -_- I have a hard time remembering names.

Lillian Girls School’s council runs on a soeur system where an upperclassman guides an underclassman. After praying to Mary, Sachiko calls Yumi’s attention and fixes her tie. Tsutako, without their knowledge, took their picture. She shows it Yumi and Yumi asks for it. Since that was expected from Yumi, she gives her conditions so she could give the picture to her. One is to get permission from Rosa Chinensis en bouton. Then they went to the mansion to ask permission from her. There was an argument among the council members when they got there and due to some circumstances, Yumi ends up a candidate for Rosa Chinensis en bouton’s soeur.
It must be the subs that I hardly understood why Yumi didn’t want to become Sachiko’s soeur. I don’t see anything wrong with except being with the rest of the student council are kind of intimidating. Maybe that’s the reason? Even Sachiko could be intimidating with her pretty looks. I even mistook her as the Rosa Chinensis. *sweatdrop* Yumi’s a shy girl, but not when Sachiko’s present. She’s too obvious! My goodness, she _does_ like her! XD

In episode 2, the high school body already knows Yumi turned down Sachiko on becoming her soeur and the newspaper club are set on finding out the truth. Yumi gets lucky as she gets the chance to have a piano duet with Sachiko. Also, she gets to dance with Rosa Gigantea and Rei Hasekura.
Lucky, lucky girl gets to be with fine, pretty ladies. XD Rei’s stand-in dance with Sachiko is definitely a service for yuri fans. You know, she can dance with any other girl and they just had to partner her up with Rei _because_ she looks like a guy. She’s like Haruna, isn’t she? Yumi’s cry is the best in all anime drama I’ve seen. Seeing it made me feel the character’s true emotions.

Yumi becomes Sister B — Cinderella’s mean sister. If she doesn’t become Cinderella, she will have to do this role. Hiei, I mean, Suguru Kashiwagi finally makes an appearance. He’s the president of Hanadera student council and went to Lillian Girls Schol to practice the prince for the play.
That guy is cute AND hot, but he’s a total jerk. I wouldn’t have only slapped him if I were in Rosa Chinenis en bouton’s place. I would have punched him real hard. Hopefully, that will be the last time I’ll be seeing him. OH WAIT… I changed my mind. XD Seeing too many girls can be tiresome… One bishie jerk wouldn’t hurt.

Then in episode 4, Rosa Foetida en bouton and Yoshino Shimazu dissolved their “sister bond.”
This episode is a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what will happen to Rei (Rosa Foetida en bouton). She’s like a dumped boyfriend. >_> … Walking like in some trance and mumbling to herself.
This anime is so YURI. Damnit. I _read_ yuri, but not watch it so I was a bit nervous watching every episodes. I used to study in an all-girls school, but if it were like Lillian, I wouldn’t last long in there. All the student council girls are likeable. Each of their characters makes you want to know more about them. I’m not looking for someone here to become my fave, but probably choosing one is a toughie. They’re all charming and amazing. There’s always something good about them. They’re truly fit for their role. Yumi’s an exception — a first year who has yet to be aware of their lifestyle. Shimako’s also a first year, but she seems made for the task of being Rosa Gigantea en bouton’s soeur.
I have a liking for classical music, so… Thumbs-up for the music!
The opening song fits the anime best and I like how they did the video. The ending is still very good. Although, it didn’t seem to fit the video. The video seems to give a happy feeling while the song is sentimental. The last part is nice yuri fanservice. Sachiko gives the impression she actually likes Yumi and not that Kashiwagi guy.
