Kyouhei has gone missing after the incident in his home. Even though his mom doesn’t like him that much because of the nonstop calls, visitors, etc. for Kyouhei, Sunako had to even tell him that she doesn’t want to be near him anymore. Kyouhei ran away to somewhere unmentioned. He seems to get by from helping people and taking whatever hospitable offer they could give him. He also joins food eating contests in various restaurants and even became a leader of a gang that he made do community service. The other 3 boys ask Sunako-chan if anything happened when Kyouhei was home. She said she doesn’t know anything, but she starts feeling guilty. The boys found out that Kyouhei isn’t returning because a member from the gang said (from a TV show) that Kyouhei mentioned not having a home to go back to. They lecture Sunako and try to make a way for Kyouhei to come back with the help of an offer from the restaurant they used to work to. That restaurant will be covered on TV and they will use it to bring Kyouhei back. Sunako also helps out by making herself look dazzling. You should see how she does it. XD
It could have been a great ending. Sunako’s Aunt saw on TV the restaurant coverage and got mad because she thought the guys were making a fool of Sunako.
So, with one episode left, it’s unlikely we get to see Sunako all lady-like and forget her liking of morbid and weird things.
Episode 25
Sunako’s Aunt arrives to the mansion in rage. She was angry at the four boys because she believed it was their fault that Sunako’s like that. Confronting Sunako made her realize that her assumptions were wrong.
The reason why Sunako’s Aunt is back is to celebrate her late husband’s 10th year death anniversary. She wants Sunako to dress up and be in her party. Her niece doesn’t want to though, but she would if her Aunt could act like a housewife even for just a day. It was going fine somehow. Only Sunako, in the end, concluded that she and her Aunt are in different worlds; that her Aunt won’t be a normal housewife being filthy rich and famous.
The series doesn’t end that way though. Sunako ponders on about her relationship with her Aunt and she’s close to her when she was young. It’s hard to say how young she was then because back then and now, she’s in her usual chibi form. She decided to try and become a lady for her Aunt. The boys and Noi-chan help her. During the party though she covered herself in a brown cloak.
As usual, since this is the last episode, there’s a bit of drama. There weren’t much scenes in the party as the four Goth~ Goth~ Loli~ Loli~ girls suddenly came and made a fuss. The boys, Noi-chan, Sunako, and her Aunt escaped the party. As they were going down the stairs, Sunako trips on her cloak and we see how she looks like in the dress her Aunt brought her.
We get a glimpse of Sunako not in her chibi form that is rather good as I am already tired of that chibi form.
Whew! Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is finally over. Will there be a second season? I kind of doubt it. I guess we’re all left to read the on-going manga to see if Sunako will ever become a true lady.
