Section III was interviewed by a big time newspaper to let the people be aware of the tasks they’re assigned to. There were mixed reactions. Some were supportive. Some were not. Of course, it could happen that people’s dreams get shattered when you’ve been in a war for so long. Not many people believe they can restore happiness in everyone. Restoration is hard for them to do since out of desperation do people tend to more bad things. Alice gets kidnapped by Cecile, whose brother was killed for finding out information about the Invisible 9. He was supposed to publish his findings in the newspaper, but he died before he actually completed the article. When he was killed, his manuscript and memos were taken or disappeared. Cecile has a copy though. His brother made a copy, but divided it into 3. Cecile only has the first part it seems. They’re going to use Pumpkin Scissors to find the rest of the manuscript and have it published. They want the people to know what the army/government is up to. The squad searched for her as soon as they found out from Alice’s self-proclaimed fiance.
So far, this is an interesting episode next to episode 1. It takes a single episode per character just to introduce them. This is the second time that we get to see Alice’s self-proclaimed fiance. I call him since it is true and I’ve forgotten his name.
Episode 12: The Unseen Pain
This is the second and last part to the story in episode 11. Alice was released. She returned to their office and reported to their captain what her kidnappers’ intentions are. It seems that Dalton, the reporter who interviwed them previously, is also interested in the Invisible 9 after seeing the Door Knocker w/ Oland. He made contact with Dr. Colt. I remember he’s the father of tanks. He was paid a visit by the female scientist (if she really is). She killed him, I don’t know how, for finding out about the Invisible 9. Cecile’s friends sold the manuscript to Dalton causing them to get killed. Dalton was killed too. Alice and Oland encountered this assassin. Alice tried to get information from him, but he poisoned himself. The assassin seems to be one of the experiments of the female scientist.
The newspaper chief seems to be part of something, but we are not sure what. When he was presented by the copy of the manuscript then Dalton left to get the scoop completed, the chief had to talk to someone. I think that whoever he talked to must have caused Cecile’s friends to get killed. Also Dalton.
Being the said father of tanks, I didn’t think Dr. Colt was unaware of the turning humans into weapons experiment. I knew he was going to die at some point.
