Pumpkin Scissors 20-24 and my take on the series

I wouldn’t be making a per-episode rant/review since, a lot had already done that and you’ll probably ignore this post if still went on with it. Just to give my point-of-view on episodes 20-24, it certainly got better with the action scenes. Interesting how Alice becomes the strongest in the group, when she started out as a character that does nothing but BLAH-BLAH-BLAH. *lol* I could forgive that because I’ve seen her with her really kick-ass weapon. I didn’t think she was the kind of girl who would take the time to learn other weapons than the dagger-like thing she always brings with her. She would look cooler without the army coat.

There were episodes before these that were only fillers that could have been removed or easily summarized to short-fillers in the end of some episodes. This series could have been, at most, 16 episodes. But no, they had to make more than 20 episodes. *shakes head* I continued watching this series because Orland impressed me with his skills in the first episode. He got lamer and lamer by the episode. *bah* He went all EMO in the end. Sheesh~

All in all, I can’t say it’s a great ride with this series. The animation’s alright. The drawing sometimes look as if they were lazily worked on. I could give a high rating on music though. The bgm, I mean. The opening and closing songs aren’t really my type. The ending songs are really unexpected from such series. I guess the production thinks the anime is too dark and, to make it lighter, they have to make a happy-feeling ending video. ^^;;;
Animation: 3.5/5
Story: 3/5
Sound: 4/5
Character: 3/5
Enjoyment: 3/5
