After some episodes, a new character is introduced. Her name’s Shimatsuya Sa-chan. It’s not stated clearly who she is and what she really does. When she suddenly fell through the roof of Yoruzuya, she decided to stay there and act as Gin-san’s wife. The Yoruzuya aren’t very happy, of course. Shinpachi wants to get rid of her asap, but Gintoki couldn’t find a way to do it. Sa-chan, on the other hand, thinks she’s got Gintoki at the palm of her hands. Sa-chan doesn’t seem to be a very bright girl, but she was able to fool Gintoki to go to Nezumiya and fight along with her.
This is a very hilarious episode.
I guess you can fool your enemy by rubbing their heads especially when that enemy is an animal. XD
Episode 23
Sa-chan isn’t in this episode, but she gave a small recap before the opening song of what happened in the previous episode. She also said that the wife, which is her, is a masochist.
It wasn’t stated directly in the previous episode, but it’s obvious once you’ve seen it.There’s another character being introduced, though I don’t think he would be a regular in this series compared to Sa-chan (I think she’s in the intro/opening).
Kagura-chan won a Casual Space Travel Bus ticket for up to 3 people. They were lucky, but their luck only ends there when the plane they boarded on got hijacked! The people were very happy when they beat the crap out of those goons. But the pilots were bombed, so they were still in a dangerous situation. That new character comes again in the scene as Gintoki forced him to fly the plane. It was his first time to fly a big ship though. I guess you can tell what happened next.
His name’s Sakamoto Tatsuma. He fought with Gintoki when there was still a war between the aliens and the Japanese. He only quit because he wants to achieve something else — being able to fly in space.Tatsuma is a weird character. XD I prefer him more than Sa-chan… I hope I’ll be able to see or watch more of this character.
Episode 24
Gintoki and Katsura were forced to experience cross-dressing because they called one, who is actually one of the Four Generals (they help keep the city alive), a freak.
They were forced to dance and entertain customers. They also meet their boss’ son who was always teased about having a cross-dressing father. His name’s Teruhiko. He’s fine with the way his father lives. He’s more concerned on what people would think of his father when he invites him to school.Katsura and Gintoki were about to escape when their boss passed out from drinking too much. Katsura had forced Gintoki though to help him find Teruhiko. Teruhiko went out to prove himself to the other boys that he isn’t a weakling. He went to this old, haunted house to prove his bravery. The other boys got scared that he actually did it. They got more frightened when he hasn’t come back. Katsura and Gintoki checked the place only to find the prince there. He bought the place as a playground for his pet Poochie. Well, having the prince around only means trouble.
Episode 25
The guys battle for the sukiyaki! The landlady, her assistant, Katsura, and Elizabeth are part of their Nabe Shogun title contest.
I thought they would seriously do a recap in this episode. I’m glad they didn’t. Anime series shouldn’t have recap episode/s anymore.
Episode 26
An old friend of Shinpachi was caught by him stealing in a convenience store. Shinpachi, Kagura and Shinpachi were asked by Hasegawa to take care of the store for a day. He had personal matters to take care of.
Taka-chin, that friend of Shinpachi, was released by Gintoki and Shinpachi. But Shinpachi felt uneasy after finding out what Taka-chin’s been up to. Taka-chin joined Bulldog gang. One of the notorious gangs in the area. He joined, so he could show that he doesn’t need the help of anyone and he would like to prove his strength and courage. Shinpachi blamed himself for not helping Taka-chin at one time when they were young.
Shinpachi went alone to where the Bulldog gang to take back Taka-chin. Gintoki, Kagura-chan, and Shinpachi’s sister went there as well to help him out. The name of their group is Terakado Otsuu Cheering Squad Special Unit Maltese.
They forget their name later on and when they were asked, they said their name’s Pomeranian. *rofl*
